September 3, 2015 : Ford Motors India has announced that it is discontinuing the production of it's best selling models, the Ford Figo hatchback and the Ford Classic. Production of other models like the Ford Fiesta sedan have also been stooped. The American automaker is taking these measures due to the poor sales figures of these cars. Fiesta have been selling in poor numbers since its launch and none of the measures by Ford, like launching a facelifted version of the car and price reductions have worked. The Figo Aspire was launched as a replacement for the Fiesta sedan and this model is the international replacement for Ford KA that already selling in Brazil. Ford will also be launching a new generation of Ford Endeavour soon.

The lavish internal cabin of this sedan series is quite spacious and designed in dual tone (charcoal black and light earth grey) color scheme, which is complemented by ambient lighting. It is packed with many sophisticated features, which gives the occupants a pleasurable driving experience. In terms of seating, the company has incorporated the cabin with ergonomically designed seats, which are well cushioned and are covered high quality cloth based upholstery. It has height adjustable driver's seat, while the rear seat comes with folding facility, which helps in enhancing the boot space. The top end variant has its inside door handles and central console garnished with royal black metallic paint, while the same have Pegasus and Castro Silver finishing in the base and mid range trims respectively.
