Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabriolet

The German manufacturer, Mercedes-Benz, has teased the C-Class Cabriolet. The car is all set to make its debut at the Geneva Auto Show and is based on the manufacturer’s MRA platform. The picture reveals the taillamp of the car and they seem to be inspired by its elder sister, the S-Class Cabriolet, though, could be more related to the C-Class Coupe. Like the S-Class Cabriolet, this version of the C-Class can also come to India, later this year or in early 2017.

Prior to the teaser, the manufacturer also released a teaser sketch, which showcased the essential cues of this car.

Since the car is a two door vehicle, it will be lot like the C-Class Coupe. However, the soft convertible top would be enough to differentiate from the Coupe. The convertible top is expected to be offered in different shades - like black, red and a couple of more.

Apart from the looks, it will share a lot more with the C-Class Coupe, like its engine options. To keep the enthusiasts pleased, an AMG version can also make an appearance at a latter stage. Hence, the AMG version will get the 4.0-litre V8 with 503 bhp on tap.

Merc will also showcase other cars at Geneva’s stage, like the C43 4Matic Coupe, the V-Class EXCULSIVE, and a BRABUS-tuned car. Then, there will also be the S63 Cabriolet, the SLC-Class(a sportster), the SL-Class, the E-Class, so on and so forth. This list will be joined by an array of cars taking Merc’s Geneva count to a total of 37 vehicles. The cars will be showcased from March 1 of 2016.
