Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 to Come in CNG Variant as well
CarDekho brought you the first pictures of Maruti Suzuki India's next big project, the Alto 800 and then we revealed the features it will come up with, now rumours starting coming that Maruti Suzuki might launch the vehicle in CNG option as well. Recently a production ready version of the same vehicle was spotted sometime back which had CNG cylinders fitted in the back, made us believe the rumours that the MSI is planning to offer its customers a CNG variant too seeing the constant hike in petrol and diesel prices and consumer's preference moving towards cheaper fuel options.

Having offered both the CNG and Petrol variants, Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 is sure going to make it large, and prove their claim to make it the next ‘People’s Car’ of India. And as we all know that the company has already phased out its famous, Maruti 800 which created history for the giant in India and was well accepted as true India car, so they want a car that might get the M800's place, and Alto 800 is expected to be that car having an estimated price of below Rs 2 lakh.
The CNG version of Alto 800 is likely to get expensive by Rs 30,000 than the standard variants.
