The acquisition of SsnagYong has been their biggest success to boast about after they took the ace utility manufacturers under their wing and hope to foster growth in the country. The Rexton and Korando are most awaited with eager eyes in the country with the hope to see something different this time from Mahindra during the 2012 Auto Expo. The Indian consumers have high expectations from the domestic car manufacturer now that Mahindra XUV 500 has proved to be class apart from the usual Mahindra line-up.

The SsnagYong deal went through at the right time for Mahindra after it lost the Jaguar Land Rover deal to Tata Motors back in 2008. The investment of Rs 2,105 crore now seems to be quite worthy, now that they are all set to showcase the SsnagYong’s product line up in India soon. Mahindra and Mahindra apart from their usual cars to display has two SsangYong SUVs up on their sleeve. Mahindra Group is expected to further enhance its presence in the South Korean markets.
