Hyundai's Accent eco launched in India
Hyundai Motor India (HMIL) rolled out the LPG variant named as 'Accent eco' on Thursday. The new car variant has the price tag of Rs 5.34 lakh. The price include Rs 34,900 for the LPG kit. It is fitted with an engine immobilizer as a standard fitment for added security,The new LPG variant is certified by the Department of Explosives (DoE) and the Automotive research Authority of India (ARAI), the country's premier automobile testing and certifying authority. HMIL Managing Director H S Lheem said.

The 'Accent eco' is powered by a 1.5 litre engine with a five speed manual transmission and has separate 45 litre petrol and 27.2 litre LPG fuel tanks. HMIL currently offers the Santro in CNG and LPG variants and now the Accent LPG adds to its range of offerings in the alternative fuel cars. He added that the LPG version would only add to the appeal of Accent, as it would not only be cheaper to run and maintain but also eco friendly.
