Hyundai Santa Fe attracts a waiting period

With Hyundai launching its Xcent at an impressive price tag, the Korean manufacturer revealed that it has received a fare amount of enquiries pertaining to their premium SUV - the Santa Fe. Rakesh Srivastava Senior VP, Division Head Sales and Marketing speaking at the occasion said that the company has received 5295 enquiries from perspective customers out of which 559 have already been converted into orders. Throwing more light onto the topic, he said that the 2 wheel drive automatic version has a waiting of one month followed by 2 months waiting on the 4 wheel drive automatic variant. 

Just to refresh one's memory, the 2014 edition Santa Fe was launched during the recently concluded 2014 New Delhi Auto Expo. It competes against the likes of Toyota Fortuner, Honda CR-V, Mitsubishi Pajero in the premium SUV category. Going by its looks, Hyundai's trademark "Fludic Design" forms the center focus along with features on board that make the Santa Fe a well packaged product.
