As you already know, the Amaze is Honda India's first diesel car to enter the market; one that Honda hopes will usher in a new era in terms of sales and growth. Apart from the Amaze, Honda also has plans for several other diesel powered vehicles for India. These include the Honda City, Jazz based MPV and possibly the CR-V. Honda plans to use its specially developed 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engine for these upcoming models. The Honda Amaze is expected to launch by the middle of the year 2013 and will offer competition to the Swift Dzire and Tata Indigo. Stick with CarDekho as we bring you further updates on the Honda Amaze. Cheers!
