With two engine variants of petrol and diesel, Honda BR-V holds an edge over other compact SUVs with a third foldable seat. Know more about this new Crossover revealed at Auto Expo.

Though, the car is based on the Brio platform, it has derived a lot from Mobilio, like the body shell. However, there are enough changes to make it look the part. The whole front end is redone along with the rear. The front is stubby and squared-off with design elements like clamshell bonnet, projector headlamps with DRLs. Powering the new BRV would be the 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine from the Honda City and the Mobilio, while the diesel motor could be a new 120 PS 1.6-litre instead of the current 100 PS 1.5-litre engine.

Pricewise, Honda BRV is expected to hover around INR 8 lacs to 13 lacs as the automaker would be manufacturing the vehicle at Tapukara, alongside Jazz, with heavy localization.
