GM EN-V to shun away traffic congestion and parking worries

Traffic jams who likes it? Parking spaces has always been a difficulty to find. However all this is about to end as recently, an electric car has been designed to beat the problems such as traffic congestion. it is also loaded with technology to park by itself.

As per the car maker's Electric -Networked Vehicle (EN-V), the two seator is made to shun away the concerns over driving and also look after the various issues related to environment, affordability and energy consumption.

And the surprise here is even if the driver doesn't wish to maneuver the car, the EN-V is designed to drive on its own. The General Motors new wonder, the electric car can turn to 360 degrees and can be driven with or without a driver. A famous tabloid reported the new car's techniques.

The electric car from the US car brand GM some time back unveiled it in the Las Vegas Convection Center. The car operates on battery power when charged and runs for 25 miles, acquiring the top speed of 25 miles per hour.

Chirs Borroni Bird, GM's director of the advance automobile concept stated that the electric car will be needed increasingly in the auto sector, as the company looks forward to rise in the new segment. The new electric car will be a step further than bike. The company assumes that the new car will not be dearer than the ones available in the auto market. But the new car will be best suited for the current auto sector.

He also added that the electric car is good when one needs to cover shorter distances. The new car will help in cutting down on emissions.

With the new technological car EN-V from General Motors has the quality to drive on its own, it is also affixed with sophisticated technology which is made by OnStar subsidiary which allows the new car to converse with the other wagons, also it can detect danger and help in locating space for parking.

Mr Borroni-Bird also said that the new technology will help in cutting down traffic as traffic congestion is majorly because of the parking. The designers drew out the only drawback this new car which is is its disability to stand with a bigger car. The makers suggest that there could be lanes only for En-V or create new areas for these cars. No one from the company announced its plans for the new electric self driven car to roll out in the market, anytime soon.
