Etios Motor Racing (EMR) in Delhi to be Hosted by Toyota Dealership
Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt. Ltd. (TKM) is displaying the concept cars of its Etios Motor Racing Car Series from 7th to 9th of July 2012 along with exciting motorsport activities at Galaxy Toyota and Grace Toyota. With this motor racing show, Etios is planning to globally showcase its philosophy of ‘WAKU DOKI’ which means ‘excitement, joy and fun’ in the Japanese language. The new sporty look of the Etios was unveiled at the Delhi Auto Expo 2012 which is meant to emphasize Toyota’s efforts in reaching out to the young group of people.

The most important reason about the motorsports to be conducted is to come closer to the customers and the youth of the country. The company has come up with exciting motorsport based activities for all age group of people who are visiting the Toyota dealership besides the display of the EMR concept cars.Toyota had planned earlier this year to popularize the EMR brand with the help of the dealership activations in 14 cities and 24 dealerships across the country. To popularize the event exhibition races, road shows and a whole lot of activities have been lined up before the series which will be held next year.
Toyota has a global legacy of motorsports and to continue the legacy EMR series have been launched. The EMR contest will be supported by one of the most accomplished and acclaimed engineering companies in motorsport history – TRD (Toyota Racing Development). The racing series will be held in the second half of 2013 and the racing will be based upon the platform of one-make racing championship. The company will also work with the Indian motorsport experts, Red Rooster Racing (International) Pvt., Ltd. based in Bangalore to understand the technicality of the sport in India. The drivers have already been selected for the inaugural season of the Etios Motor Racing. The official partners of the racing event are MRF and DENSO.
