Skoda to appear at the Monte Carlo Rally
Monte Carlo is a legendary event which marks the opening of Intercontinental Rally Challenge (IRC). The event is going to be special for Skoda as 10 Skoda Fabia Super 2000 will join the 2011 Monte Carlo Rally fighting for titles in drivers and manufacturers competition.
Mikko Markkula and Juho Hänninen, the last year's winner along with Petr Starý and Jan Kopecký, the runner ups will come up as two successful crews of Skoda Motorsports, factory team. Skoda Fabia from the company's stable has been attracting great response from Skoda importers which has resulted into big names driving this stunning model in the Monte Carlo Rally. Among the list of the superstar to drive the stunning Skoda Fabia Super 2000 includes Nicolas Vouilloz, 2008 IRC champion; Andreas Mikkelsen; winner of three IRC races last year, Freddy Loix and the famous Mark Wallenwein of Škoda Auto Germany. To make the appearance special and unique, the company will introduce an updated version of Skoda Fabia Super 2000 which will be patent to Monte Carlo Rally. The updated version will come pasted in striking green color which gives it a patent Soda family identity. The car will also falunt a “110 years of motorsport” logo on the front which signifies the company's anniversary to be celebrated this year.

The commencement of Monte Carlo Rally 2011 will be on 19th of January at Valence, France and will mark its end on 22nd January in mountains near Monte Carlo. A total of 13 special stages will be imbibed in the rally with further spices of unpredictable weather and a thousand KM road drive.
