25,000th Skoda Fabia rolled out
Skoda India, is sky rocketing these days with Skoda Fabia. Skoda Auto, Czech Republic car marker has wheeled the 25000th Fabia. The proud manufacturers of Skoda Fabia have strategically used the potential of the hatchback cars in India. The milestone of 25000th Skoda Fabia was achieved at the Volkswagen Group's plant at Chakan, Pune. The moment was celebrated in the presence of Prof. Dr. H.C. Winfried Vahland, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Skoda Auto and the new Volkswagen Group Chief Representative India & President alongwith Dr. Frank Loeschman, the Managing Director Volkswagen India Pvt. Ltd. When Dr. Vahland visited India for the first time he was sure that Indian markets would give them the growth they are expecting. His visit cements that Skoda has shown a great growth in the market.

Filled with enthusiasm, Prof. Dr. Vahland, the Chairman of Board of Directors of Skoda Auto said that Skoda is a global brand and India has contributed to its growth greatly. The Indian consumers have shown great interest and have liked the Skoda Cars. The company wishes to mark the growth by bringing new products time and again.
Adding to the excitement, Dr. Frank Loschmann, Volkswagen Group India, welcomed Prof. Dr. Winfried Vahland at the Chakan Plant at Pune and with great joy he said that, the advanced plant has manufactured the 25000th Skoda Fabia. It is has been a tremendous journey ever since they started the production of Fabia from 2009 May. He was delighted to see the growth of the company and wished to see such moments more often in the coming time.
Prof. Dr. Vahland visit also embarked his gracious presence in the launching of the new Skoda Fabia. The new model of Fabia, has the old heart with few new changes. The car is a stunner which makes you feel special. The all new Skoda Fabia is extremely spacious and comes in two variants Petrol and Diesel versions giving great fuel efficiency. Fabia is luxury of a sedan squeezed into a compact car. The Skoda Fabia has marked its presence in the market with great consumer demand. Skoda Auto (India) had an impressive sales growth of 36.6% in the year 2010 in comparison to last year. Skoda is ruling India since 2001 November and has grown significantly in a decade. Skoda has sold over 94.500 cars and three of its models are currently offered for sale which are- Skoda Laura, Skoda Superb and Skoda Fabia. The company is soon coming with Skoda Yeti in the Indian market. With the current growth and new launches, it can be predicted that it will have a good slice in the Indian auto market.
