    Toyota Takes Steps to Reduce Waiting Period for Etios

    Toyota Kirloskar Motors declared that the Japanese auto company is taking measures to reduce the waiting period for Toyota Etios reasonably by reducing it to the half of its present time. It can be achieved via various steps such as beginning with a second shift manufacturing, modification in the takt time (manufacturing time per car), increasing the production and also further delaying Toyota Etios Liva launch by June, however this is clearly showcasing the increasing demand of Toyota Etios.

    Hiroshi Nakagawa- Managing Director, Toyota Kirloskar Motors said that the Japanese auto giant is elated with the present performance of Toyota Etios accrediting to the exceeding demands.     Sandeep Singh- (Marketing)- Deputy Managing Director at Toyota Kirloskar Motors said that the auto giant is thanking its customers for the response on Toyota Etios. The Japanese auto giant is also apologizing for delaying the launch of its long awaited hatchback Toyota Etios Liva. The company is taking the due steps to limit the inconvenience caused to the customers.

    TKM Pvt Ltd, was established in October 1997, however the manufacturing started from December 1999 in the suburbs of Bangalore, Karnataka State is wide spread in 432 acres. At present the Japanese auto craftsmen holds a great presence in the Indian auto market, credit it to the winning car models. These are the premium sedan Toyota Corolla Altis, Toyota Innova the super luxury SUV and Toyota Fortuner. While Toyota Camry, Toyota Prado, Toyota Prius and Toyota Land Cruiser are shipped as complete built units (CBUs) for the domestic auto market.

    The Etios Liva is expected to launch in July this year, apart from the Liva a Diesel variant of the Etios and a MUV smaller than the Innova is also expected this year.
