Toyota Etios production to be started by the year end

Toyota Motors, world's largest car manufacturer is all set to launch its Toyota Etios model in India. Company started a 'Q' word programme which is basically a two day programme in which it will present its all portfolio models in India with its latest sensation, Toyota Etios. The Q programme will start in Mumbai and then will be organized in 10 different cities so that it can showcase its new models to maximum number of people in India.

Toyota Etios was first showcased in the month of January at Delhi Auto Expo where company displayed both hatchback and sedan versions of the Toyota Etios model. According to the company the process of launching Toyota Etios in India is running as per schedule and it is expected that the model will be launched in India by the last quarter of this year. First the sedan version with 2 variants will be launched and hatchback version will follow after three months.

Production of the Toyota Etios model is expected to start from the last month of this year. Toyota's plant which will be used for manufacturing its Etios model is under construction and after the completion it will be able to manufacture about 70,000 units per year with an expanded capacity of upto 2,00,000 units.
