Toyota Etios facelift to come around 2016 Auto Expo
Every car comes with an expected time period of four to five years before a facelift version arrives. In the case of Toyota Etios, the facelift version is expected to be showcased around the 2016 Auto Expo. Launched in 2011, the car failed to be known as market capturer, but still was not a complete failure for the company. Seeing the current trend, the facelifted version is expected to feature LED DRLs, and if media reports are to be believed, the car is expected to get a complete exterior makeover. Unlike the on-going model, the facelift model is speculated to carry a sporty & less 'boxy' design.

The engine specification will remain same, as it will keep on carrying the 1.5-litre petrol engine and 1.4-diesel model. The petrol engine develops a maximum power of 88.8bhp while the diesel engine churns a power of 67bhp. The car offers decent fuel economy and that's the main reason why the car is mostly used as fleet vehicles and for taxi purpose.
