Toyota Etios diesel launch expected in September

It is expected that Toyota Etios Diesel sedan will come powered with the 1.4 litre of diesel engine same as Toyota Altis but a little low in power. Toyota India is already celebrating with success, as Toyota India recently saw the growth in sales of about 99% by selling about 13,592 units in the month of July 2011 against 6834 units sold in July 2010. As per Mr. Sandeep Singh, the deputy MD of Toyota Motors India reportedly said that July was superb month for the firm as the company saw growth in both sales and volumes. Consumers gave a tremendous response to both Toyota Etios sedan and recently launched Toyota Etios Liva hatchback.

Toyota Motors India managed to sell 4095 units of Toyota Etios sedan and 2551 units of Toyota Etios Liva in the month of July 2011. Even the brand new Toyota Corolla Altis has received an overwhelming response, which saw a growth of 22% that is it managed to sell 1030 units in the month of July 2011.

With such an overwhelming response, it could be expected that Toyota Etios diesel version with also get the same kind of response.
