Toyota Etios all set to dazzle Indian market

The Indian market is already overcrowded with the small car segment. Though many gaint car manufacturers are looking forward to invest in the small car market Toyota has no such plans. Toyota Etios will be the only small car which they will stick to for the Indian car market. Toyota, world's largest auto mobile producer has faded away all the speculations of the company coming with new small car in the Indian Market. Mr. Yukitoshi Funo, the Executive Vice-President of Toyota, confirmed that Etios is the lowest model Toyota plans to launch. Toyota Etios has been especially crafted for India as Toyota is not into small cars manufacturing.

Preparations for the launch of Toyota Etios in the coming months are in full flow. The Etios will come in 1.2 litre hatchback and 1.5 litre sedan petrol variants. The Etios sedan will be launched before the hatchback model that will come after three months. The price tag selected for the hatchback is between Rs 4 to 5 lacs and for sedan is Rs 5 lacs respectively.

Indian markets are on a all time high which is now being explored by national and international manufactures. Mr. Funo added that Toyota has no plans to come with a small car but looking at the promising market and predicted growth. Toyota's competitors Suzuki Motors and Tata Motors have a stronghold in the Indian market.

He further added, that Toyota is doing very well globally and has noted presence in US and Europe. With a positive attitude he said, Toyota will build its own market in India step by step and will subsequently gain on the trust of the Indian buyers.

Mr. Funi also in the Board of Toyota Motor comapany, said that the coming launch will not take much time to get a hold on the Indian market, although the company is yet to finalize in which particular segment of cars Etios will be fitting in.

With the plans of winning the Indian Auto market, Mr. Funa said that the new car will be a success only if it is able to attract the Indian buyers desipte the already crowded small car market. The company looks for the sales of Etios to double in 12 months and should be 1.4 lacs cars from its launch time.

I want buy Toyota ETIOS sedan car because of the following reasons. 1) Attractive price as indicated in the Toyota website. 2) Lot of market research was done In India based on Toyota web site. 3 )Indian customer needs/wants are captured very well by the company. 4) The wants of Indian customer are 1) Easy to park 2) creating the more comfort level at the rear of back seat for accommodating 3rd person which is Indian customer need 3) More Pickup . 5)Toyota Is known for quality and durability of their cars in India as well as world wide,so I take it granted the same will be maintained in ETIOS vehicles. The other competitors vehicles are also good, but they are not made suitable to the Indian customers needs ,there fore,the Etios are most preferable and suitable vehicle for Indian customers.These vehicles will bring revolution in the Hatch back & sedan car segment .
