Production to be shut for 10 days at - Maruti

In the last week of December there would be hardly any production which could be noticed in the different plants of Maruti Suzuki, situated all across India. As like each year this year also the production will be closed for as to start the annual maintenance. Company had already planned the maintenance week in the months of June-July or in the month of December. And is effectively following the concept each year. This year the production is expected to be closed from December 25 to January 3 of the next year. The largest car model manufacturing company of the nation producing about 2,300 to 2,400 car units a day. Still the market share are decreasing along with the sales. In the present scenario the sales for the company had decreased to nearly 24 percent. Now during this shut down period the company officials are planning to involve in better inventory plans. Moreover this would also help reduce the stocks already possessed by the company.

I think this is Company strategies for annual work. and it good for employee. and like above , it's help for production and maintenece.

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd will be closing production at its plants for 10 days from the last week of December. <br/> According to dealers and market analysts, while the plant shutdown is an annual practice followed by most companies, this year, it would also help companies correct their inventory level.
