New small car from General Motors by end of 2009
US based General Motors is planning to launch a new small car in India. Currently Chevrolet Spark and Chevrolet U-Va are the small car models which company is selling in India. This new model is expected to launched in the end of the year 2009. The New small car is expected to be priced under Rs 4 lakh. The car will be launched with 50% local contact. The model will be a global model in General Motors portfolio.

Besides this General Motors is also planning to launch three new models in India. According to company Chevrolet Cruz will be launched in the second half of this year. Chevrolet Cruz is a luxury car which will be priced at Rs 12 lakh to Rs 14 lakh.
