New Hyundai Verna launched in India

Today on 9 February 2009,  India's largest car exporter, Hyundai Motor India launched new Hyundai Verna with luxurious interiors and improved exterior features enhance its appeal to customers. The new Hyundai Verna is priced between the range of Rs 637,700 to Rs 865,350 (as ex-showroom price). The new Hyundai Verna launched in four variants with six new exciting colours.

H S Lheem, Managing Director, Hyundai Motor India Ltd, said, “Hyundai Verna has proven its success in India and the New Hyundai Verna which also comes with an automatic transmission – a first for this segment -- will enhance customer delight and satisfaction. With the launch of new Hyundai Verna, we have once again raised the standards for style, performance and safety in India's mid-size car segment.”

The new Hyundai Verna launched in four variants that includes two petrol engine options – 1.6 VTVT & 1.6 SX VTVT – and two diesel engine options - 1.5 CRDi VGT & 1.5 SX CRDi VGT. In addition, Hyundai has also launched automatic transmission in VGT SX variant and makes it the first diesel A/T in its segment.

The interiors of The new Hyundai Verna interiors boast many significant design revisions with stylish, sophisticated new fabrics and detailed improvements in quality and finish. The audio console has also been upgraded and boasts of a high quality 2 DIN CD Changer with 4 speakers and 2 tweeters. It also includes safety features like ABS with EBD.
