Mitsibishi is a sport utility vehicle (SUV) which is powered by 2.4L 167.7bhp MIVEC engine. The company anticipates a good potential in the state capital despite the ongoing recession.

The company have a target to sell at least 200 Outlanders per month despite the global meltdown. The north Indian region, particularly Lucknow, would contribute significantly towards that.'' Sumit Seth, country head, sales, Hindustan Motors, which has a tie up with Mitsubishi, said.
The SUV market grew by six per cent between 2007 and 2008'' Soni Shrivastav, head, corporate communication, CK Birla Group said. That is, as against the total 9,453 SUVs sold in August 2007, the total sales figures stood at 9,953 in 2008,'' she said.
