    Mercedes-Maybach Releases New Images of S-Class

    Daimler AG, the German automotive corporation has released new images of Mercedes-Maybach S-Class, an ultra luxury edition of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class. Both the S500 and S600 are available on order and comes with a hefty price tag of €134,053.50 (INR 1.05 Crore) for the S500 and €187,841.50 (INR 1.47 Crore ) for the S600.

    In terms of dimensions, the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class is 5453mm long and gets a wheelbase of 3365mm, which is 200mm larger than the S-Class LWB. The car which is specifically designed to be chauffeur-driven, is made available in nine metallic body paints such as Peridot, Iridium Silver, Magnetite Black, Palladium Silver, Black Ruby, Diamond Silver, Anthracite Black and Cavansitblau and Obsidian Black. 

    Step inside and you can feel the exclusive nappa leather & designo exclusive leather along with semi-aniline upholsteries which comes in several color combinations. In order to make the car more exclusive, the automaker offers different inserts which a customer can further choose such as gloss brown burr, poplar wood gloss black, designo wood ash metalized, designo black piano lacquer and designo myrtle wood sunburst gloss brown.

    According to the carmaker, the wheelbase of the saloon is the quietest in the world for rear-seat passengers. For ensuring safety of its passengers, the car comes equipped with seat belt buckle extender, beltbag (both part of the PRE-SAFE® rear package, beltbag also available separately) and seat cushion airbag. 

    Mechanically, the top-of-the-range-model-Mercedes-Maybach S 600 is powered by V12 biturbo engine that churns a max power of 530bhp and peak torque of 830Nm at 1900rpm, while the Mercedes-Maybach S 500 is powered by V8 biturbo engine which generates an output of 455bhp and 700Nm of peak torque.
