Maruti to rename old Swift Dzire and reposition as a Taxi special
With the launch of the all new Maruti Swift Dzire CS, questions were raised as to what will happen to the old Maruti Swift Dzire. Instead of being discontinued, India’ largest carmaker has decided to continue this model with a new name and new position. The old Maruti Swift Dzire will have a price cut and would embellish the taxi market, as this sedan is known for higher reliability, high fuel efficiency and low maintenance costs. The sedan will also be renamed to pep up in the taxi market a bit.
