Ferrari all set to hit the Indian shores tomorrow

There will be enough reason for the sports car enthusiasts to be on cloud nine on May 26 as Ferrari is going to open its first dealership in India. With this the Italian sports car maker would be officially introducing some of its best road cars in India. Hopefully, Ferrari would be launching Ferrari California, Ferrari 458 Italia, Ferrari 599 GTB and Ferrari FF, initially. These cars are expected to be priced between Rs2.2 cr to Rs4 crore.

According to sources, the dealership would be opened in the Janakpuri area in New Delhi and it would showcase all Ferrari cars in India. Reports have also come in that Ferrari has appointed Shreyans Group as its dealer which is also currently the only dealer of Maserati and Ducati bikes in India. In the beginning the dealership would be at Janpath and in due course, Ferrari would hopefully take it to Mumbai as well. Next, Ferrari eyes the Metros and important cities in India.

Initially, Ferrari India is hoped to launch its Gran Tourismo (GT), Grand Tourer Range cars viz. Ferrari California, Ferrari 458 Italia, Ferrari 599 GTB and Ferrari FF. Ferrari California is a 4.3L V8 engine car that produces mammoth 454hp at 7500rpm. The California is able to catch a 100kmph mark in just 4.0 seconds, whoosh! The Ferrari California price in India is expected to be Rs2.2 crores. The Ferrari 458 Italia is powered 4.4L V8 direct fuel injection engine that produces 560 hp at 9,000 rpm. The Ferrari 458 Italia Ferrari is the first mid-rear engine setups among the Ferrari road cars. The Ferrari 458 Italia price in India is expected to be Rs2.56 crore.

The third offering, Ferrari 599 GTB has a V12, 5999 cc, petrol engine that produces 611 bhp power @ 7600 rpm. The Ferrari 599 GTB price in India is expected to start at Rs3.37 crore. The Ferrari FF is the fourth offering in the GT range. It is a four-seater and is acclaimed as the world’s fastest four-seat automobile. With a top speed of 335 km/h the Ferrari FF accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds. The Ferrari FF price in India is hoped to be around Rs4 crores.
