Chevrolet Cruze WTCC Edition Launched in China

American auto major General Motors has recently launched a special edition WTCC (World Touring Car Championship) version of the car in China to add more appeal to the range. The car has been launched to celebrate Chevrolet's touring car success, however the car has only already received cosmetic changes, no performance enhancing kit.

Chevrolet Cruze WTCC is based on the regular version of the car which is built locally by the Shanghai-GM Joint venture, yet it gets some nice changes at side skirts, a new body kit and special WTCC sticker, helping it look sportier than ever. Other than these changes, the car remains the same. It carries the similar petrol engines- 1.6-litre and 1.8-litre, producing the maximum power output of 115bhp and 145bhp respectively.

The new Chevrolet Cruze WTCC version has been priced between 1,23,900 and 1,57,200 Yuan. Since the company hasn't announced that it would be selling a limited number of the vehicle, so we guess, it's a new special trim added to the line-up.
