The updated MG Windsor EV is also expected to get a bigger 50.6 kWh battery pack which can have a claimed range of over 450 km
The 2025 MG Windsor EV has been spied with heavy camouflage. While the design looks similar to the current-spec model, what can be seen is a new vehicle-to-load (V2L) feature, which is not available currently. Along with this, a few more changes are expected, the details of which are as follows:
Other Expected Changes
The updated MG Windsor EV is expected to get a larger 50.6 kWh battery pack choice that is offered with the internationally available Wuling Cloud EV. Here is how it compares to the current-spec Windsor’s 38 kWH battery pack:

38 kWh (currently available) |
50.6 kWh (expected soon) |

The bigger battery pack will be mated to the same electric motor, and hence, it will have a better claimed range than the currently available 38 kWh unit. What remains to be seen is if the V2L tech will be available with just the larger battery option or both.
Moreover, the international-spec Cloud EV also gets a 4-way power adjustable co-driver’s seat and a full suite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) with features including adaptive cruise control and lane keep assist. These two features are also expected to be introduced with the updated MG Windsor EV.
Other design highlights, including the LED DRLs, flush door handles and connected LED tail lights look the same as the current-spec model.

Other Features And Safety
Features onboard the MG Windsor EV include an 8.8-inch digital driver’s display, a 15.6-inch touchscreen, a fixed glass roof, a wireless phone charger, auto AC with rear vents, 256-colour ambient lighting and a 9-speaker Infinity sound system. All of this is expected to be carried forward to the updated model.
It will continue with six airbags (as standard), a 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and an electronic parking brake.
Expected Price And Rivals
The MG Windsor EV with more features and a larger battery pack is expected to command a slight premium over the current-spec model. At the moment, the current model is priced between Rs 14 lakh and 16 lakh. However, if you buy it with the battery subscription plan, then its starting price reduces to Rs 10 lakh + Rs 3.5 per km (battery rental fee). It will continue to rival the Tata Nexon EV and Mahindra XUV400 EV.
All prices are ex-showroom, pan-India
