2012 Premier Rio caught taking test drives in Pune
It’s been a long time that Premier has been working on its brand new SUV called 2012 Premier Rio. Recently this new SUV by Premier was spotted on the roads of Pune during its testing routine. It is expected that 2012 Premier Rio launch is scheduled in the month of October 2011. When this new Premier Rio was seen in Pune, there were no exterior changes as such, but it is expected that it is going to sport 1.3 litre of Fiat Multijet engine. However, there has been no confirmation about the changes, but it is quite certain that a new engine will be present in the 2012 Premier Rio SUV, which would be following the BSIV norms.

Also the new 2012 Premier Rio SUV is basically rebadged Zotye Rio, which is actually re-clasped Daihatsu Terios. A Chinese firm, Zotye acquired the rights to make the Daihatsu Terios that Premier also makes as Rio. It seems that Premier Rio is the most economical SUV till now, but only until the time Mahindra Mini-Xylo isn’t launched in the market. According to the rumors, Mahindra mini Xylo is expected to be pretty cheap and economical.

However, if Premier puts more efforts in enhancing its dealership network along with certain development in the quality, the new 2012 Premier Rio will surely add more charm to the firm’s reputation. It is expected that the price of Premier Rio SUV will be hiked by Rs. 80,000 and this SUV will be up for sale in only selected 11 cities.However, it is for sure that Mahindra’s Mini Xylo will be a very tough competition to Premier Rio SUV. Nonetheless, there hasn’t been any news about when will Mahindra launch its Mini Xylo, but rumor has it that it will be launched in a couple of months.

dashboard and seats should be redesigned with 2 contrasting colors,the quality of all the interiors should improve,sound dampening to be provided,the interiors should be at least like that of maruti suzuki vehicles,the exterior is great.
this car is tinn ka dibba only,engine is very noisy,for driver the seating posture is uncomfortable n very suffocated..dealer they have appointed are not so proffesional,they even don't know how to speak n behave with customer.....then imgaine the after sales service dealing...
make the annuoncement for multijet enggin as early as possible
