2012 Honda CR-V European Edition- Official Pictures and Video
Launched in 1995 at the Tokyo Motor Show, currently in its 4th generation, Honda CR-V has been in the US since late last year. Europe will see the refreshed model as well which will reach markets around October or November. The compact soft-roader was revealed in its production form and now the pictures and video footage have been revealed as well.

This European model will have the slightly tweaked 2.0-litre i-VTEC petrol engine which will deliver 153bhp. The diesel version will be the 2.2-litre i-DTEC diesel which also delivers a similar power. Adding to the range will be a new 1.6-litre turbo diesel which will be capable of churning out 118bhp.
Europe will see the CR-V in Two as well as Four-Wheel Drive. The European model will be offered with 2.4-litre petrol/gasoline unit which will churn out 185bhp of power. The CR-V for Europe will also have a revised front bumper, LED daytime lights, rear LED lights, reshaped mirrors with turning signals, fin-style antenna etc. to name a few additions and revisions. This refreshed model of the Honda CR-V would be seen in India as well, making the diesel CR-V more desirable than ever before.
Honda CR-V can be counted among one of the first models which can rightly be called “Soft-Roader”, from the vehicle available in the SUV segment. Globally the model has sold over 5 million units. After its launch in Europe in 1997, the European model started being manufactured in UK itself in the year 1998.
