2012 Honda CR-V concept undisguised
Honda seems to be on cloud nine these days, first, 5 honors at the 2011 “Lowest True Cost to Own” awards and now it is all ready to launch its new car, Honda CR-V. Recently, the new Honda CR-V was captured on camera. And according to the rumors, the 2012 Honda CR-V could hit the roads by the end of 2011. However, it is not clear as to when this new car will come to India, but it shouldn’t take very long.

The new Honda CR-V is expected to come with seven seats, which will surely make this car a very comfortable ride for everybody. The technical specifications of the 2012 Honda CR-V include in the 2.4 litres of I VTEC engine, which will keep the capability of producing 161 of horse power accompanied with 218 Nm of torque at the rate of 4200 RPM.

The diesel variant will come with 2.2 I CTDi diesel motor, which will have twin cam, 16 valve, common rail, direct injection turbo engine. This diesel motor will keep the capacity to churn out 150 bhp of power along with 340 Nm of torque at the rate of 2000 RPM. It is expected the Honda CR-V price will be around Rs. 30 Lakh. With the Honda CR-V launch on the cards, Honda Motors has already made its consumers happy by reducing price of Honda City and Honda Jazz by Rs. 66000 and Rs. 1.7 Lakh respectively. Other prominent Honda car models include Honda Civic and Honda Accord.
