- Punchy and refined 1.5-litre TSi engine
- Impressive infotainment experience
- Fun to drive
- Automatic transmission with both engine options.

Mahindra Thar
- Stiff ride quality. Deals with bad roads well but sharp bumps can unsettle the cabin quite easily
- Old school ladder frame SUV and behaves like one. Loads of body roll even on mild curves
- Some cabin flaws: Rear windows aren’t openable and thick B pillars create large blind spots to the side
- It’s a heavily improved/polished version of a hardcore off-roader but not an alternative to more practical, comfortable, feature rich compact/sub compact SUVs
Volkswagen Taigun
- Sitting three people at the back is a squeeze
- Fit and finish levels are not as good as the Vento
- GT Line gets less features as compared to the Highline
- No diesel engine option
