Tata Curvv

Latest Update: The Tata Curvv has been spied again ahead of its launch. The latest spy shots gave us a glimpse of its connected LED tail lights.

Launch: The Tata Curvv is expected to go on sale in the second half of 2024.

Price: The ICE (internal combustion engine) version of the Curvv could be priced from Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards.

Tata Curvv EV: Tata has also confirmed the launch timeline of the electric version of the SUV-coupe, the Tata Curvv EV.

Seating Capacity: It will be offered in a 5-seater configuration.

Boot Space: The Tata Curvv will have a boot space of 422 litres.

Engine and Transmission: Tata’s SUV-coupe will use a new 1.2-litre TGDi turbo petrol engine (125 PS /225 Nm). It could be available with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT). Tata will also be offering it with the Nexon’s 1.5-litre diesel engine (115 PS/260 Nm),  mated with 6-speed manual transmission.

Features: Key features on board could include a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a 10.25-inch fully digital driver’s display and a panoramic sunroof. It is also expected to get ventilated front seats, wireless phone charging, and push-button start/stop.

Safety: In terms of safety, the Curvv will come with six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera with blind spot monitoring, and ISOFIX child seat anchors. The Curvv is also expected to come with advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) like autonomous emergency braking, lane keep assist, and adaptive cruise control.

Rivals: It will be a direct rival to the Citroen Basalt, while being a coupe alternative to compact SUVs such as Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, Maruti Grand Vitara, Skoda Kushaq, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Citroen C3 Aircross, and Volkswagen Taigun.
