In its latest form, it has lost a bit of its dynamic charm in a bid to offer better comfort for the rear passengers. It is available as a long-wheelbase model in India and comes with a single petrol engine on offer.

Powered by the 2.0L TwinPower Turbo petrol (258 PS / 400 Nm) with 48V mild hybrid and 8-speed Steptronic, 0-100 km/h in 6.5 seconds. Standard kit covers the 37.97cm (14.9-inch) central display + 31.24cm cluster with iDrive 8.5, panoramic glass sunroof, Veganza upholstery with multifunction front seats, electrically reclining rear backrests with the boss-button to slide the passenger seat forward, rear sunshades, 4-zone climate, Bowers & Wilkins 18-speaker surround (655W), adaptive LED headlamps, Parking Assistant Professional with 360° view, full Driving Assistant and 18-inch aero alloys. No trim to pick: at ₹76.60L you get the chauffeur-spec 5 Series — aimed at owners who want E-Class LWB rivalry with a driver's badge.
