Tata Nano to undergo cosmetic change, launch expected by Nov end
The cheapest car across the world is now up for an upgrade. If rumours are to be believed, with the first ever major upgrade on Tata Nano, the new small car is expected to be launched towards the end of November. The new Tata Nano is said to undergo a major makeover from the outgoing model with numerous modifications on the exteriors and the interiors to match with them. The biggest turn around in the small car is the engine, which has been revved up from 35 PS to 38 PS to mark 10% additional power output.

Country’s leading car manufacturer Tata Motors, might also consider incorporating a 3-cylinder 900 cc engine while retaining the 2-cylinder 624 cc engine in the present model. The new Tata Nano price and the official launch date are still kept under the wraps to keep the speculations going. Tata Motors, which is quite well-known to implement changes in their models for good, after considering the customers feedback did not deviate from their routine this time as well. The external rear view mirror on the passenger side is added in the new edition though the existence of the driver side ORVM is not confirmed.

The Tata Nano hatchback owners reportedly had suffered from a couple of serious drawbacks in the car with respect to the absence of the driver side rear view mirror and the exposed engine in the rear end of the car. However, the extended rear bumper in the new version does meet one of the customer requirements. The small car interiors are said to be refurbished with superior quality fabric for better comfort, beige colored dashboard keeping the customers preferences in mind, new floor mats and brand new headrests for front seats. Three new color options are included to the available color combinations of pearl-white, Orange and Green.
