The launch of Tata Nano CVT version as per the speculations launch of Tata Nano CVT version is scheduled in the running year but the launch might stretch to next year as well.

With this exclusive version of small wonder, the company intends to target the buyers who are located in remote areas and will buy a car for the first time. Such target market demands good comfort level and thus the CVT version will solve the major purpose of these buyers.

But with the introduction of this CVT version of Tata Nano, the company will have to face the major challenge of nullifying the lower fuel efficiency which the car will show with this technology. It will be a tough job as the target buyers are from middle class segment and if the fuel efficiency if not good, it will leave a question on its existence among this targeted market segment. But the expectation from the Indian major is as always high and surely the company will come up with revolutionary technology for its buyers. Here Tata Motors will have to struggle with three major issues, maintaining convenience and fuel efficiency without compromising the tag of world's cheapest car.

The company will bring out better technology in association with C-Tech which is a CVT transmission maker from Quebec, Canada. And if things goes well between the two companies, the CVT transmission maker might settle up a plant just next to the Tata Nano plant at Sanand, Gujarat. The things are expected to take a proper shape in coming few months.
