Tata Motors sales increased in Feburary 2008
India's one of the largest car manufacturers Tata Motors' sales gone up by over 19% in the month of February compare to month of January this year in India. According to Tata Motors the sales in February were highest in last 4 months. According to company the sales of Passenger vehicles in Indian market was highest in the February since may 2008. The total sales of the company was 43,811 vehicles which was also highest in last 4 months.

Recently the government announced a financial stimulus for commercial vehicles and this announcement made a great impact on the sales of commercial vehicles of Tata Motors. The company sold 19,039 unit of passenger vehicles in Indian market which was 4% up from January 2009 and 1.5% higher then February last year. The company sold 1,318 vehicles in foreign markets in February 2009 which is 7% up from January 2009.
