    Ratan Tata dreams to make a car that runs on water

    Ratan Tata, the chairman of Tata Groups, has seen a new dream, a dream to design a car that runs on water instead of petrol or diesel and as per an eminent scientist, the man has already invested USD 15 million on the project. The investment is to set up a research and development firm.

    Prof C N R Rao, who is the Chairman of the Scientific Advisory Council commented that a technique to split water molecule in hydrogen and oxygen has already been discovered by a professor in the famed Massechusetts Institute of Technology in the US.

    Prof Rao also commented that the owner of Tata Groups, Ratan Tata has given him a huge sum of USD 15 million in order to have a right on the upcoming revolutionary technology. He also commented that Ratan Tata intends to incest in a company which has the technology to split water molecule in hydrogen and oxygen. As per Rao statement, if a water molecule is split into its primary atoms, hydrogen and oxygen, it gives great amount of energy and this energy is channelised can supplement as an environment friendly fuel. If the scientists are able to come up with such a technology, then an effective supplement of non renewable resources will reach people.

    This entire technology will wrap up to solidify the dream seen by Ratan Tata, car running on water. The statements by Prof Rao were given by the Chemical Research Society of India. The statement was made when the organisation was asked about the plans for year 2011 which is the International Year of Chemistry as per United Nations.

    Recently Tata Motors has announced a price rise on all its offerings in Indian owing to the increasing input cost. The company is implementing a hike in price on almost all its models including passenger and commercial vehicles.
