- People Also AskIs Mahindra Thar Difficult Driving?On the go, the Thar feels very nimble, and lane-changing maneuvers are quick and easy. The steering though feels a bit heavy. As far as the ride quality is concerned, the new Thar is miles ahead of the older car. It absorbs well but the thing is that at high speeds it tends to get a bit floaty1
