VinFast aims to launch 35 dealerships across 27 cities in India by the end of 2025

Vietnamese EV maker VinFast has opened its first showroom in India, located at Piplod, Surat, Gujarat. The VF6 and VF7 are on display at this 3,000-square-foot facility, and pre-bookings for both models have already commenced. The carmaker aims to open 35 dealerships across 27 cities in India by the end of 2025 — some of which we’ve detailed that in this story.
Notably, the carmaker has opened its first dealership before commencing operations at its Thoothukudi plant in Tamil Nadu. It has also confirmed that both the VF6 and VF7 will be launched in India as completely knocked down (CKD) units. VinFast VF6

The VinFast VF6 has a futuristic and curvy design, thanks to its blanked-off face complemented by chrome inserts as well as LED lighting elements both for headlamps and taillamps. In India, it features six colour options: Infinity Blanc, Crimson Red, Urban Mint, Jet Black, Desat Silver and Zenith Grey.

Inside, it gets a sporty all-black cabin with silver accents, soft-touch materials, and boasts plenty of features. Top features include a 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment, a head-up display, auto AC, a panoramic glass roof, as well as heated and ventilated front seats. For safety, it gets multiple airbags, a 360-degree camera, and Level-2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

The VinFast VF6 can be priced from around Rs 25 lakh (ex-showroom). It will rival Hyundai Creta EV, Tata Curvv EV, Mahindra BE 6, MG ZS EV and the upcoming Maruti e Vitara.
VinFast VF7

The VinFast VF7 is a larger, more premium electric SUV than the VF6, with a boxier silhouette. It comes with modern design elements like split LED DRLs, a sloping roofline, and up to 20-inch alloy wheels. It comes with the same six colour options as available with the VF6.

Inside, it features a dual-tone, driver-focused cabin with a minimalist design, highlighted by a floating 12.9-inch touchscreen, silver accents, and ample storage in the centre console. Key features include a 12.9-inch touchscreen, head-up display (HUD), ventilated front seats with 8-way powered driver’s seat, panoramic glass roof, and auto AC. On the safety front, it gets multiple airbags, a 360-degree camera, an electronic parking brake, and Level-2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
