Upcoming Mahindra Verito Compact Sedan Rendered- Pictures

The Indian auto major Mahindra & Mahindra has already announced its plans of launching a sub 4-metre version of its flagship sedan Verito in India, and now our friends at Wheelosphere.org have brought the rendered images of the Verito CS, giving us a clear idea how the car will look in real. The rendering has been originally done by Murruga Design, and we are impressed with the smart work done by the Murruga, as the car seems very close to the original one, which is yet to be unveiled. We have already seen the spy pictures of the car, and the rendered images seem to have taken inspiration from them only, and it manages to look very identical.

The Indian auto major Mahindra Mahindra has already announced its plans of launching a sub 4-metre version of its flagship sedan Verito in India, and now our friends at Wheelosphere.org have brought the rendered images of the Verito CS, giving us a clear idea how the car will look in real.

Since the major design treatment in the car has been done at the boot of the car, front fascia is likely to remain the same as the new Verito sedan. In fact if you look at the sides of the car, it's identical to the Verito untill the rear door. The boot of the car is an unusual one, the rear tail lights are placed on the pillars rather than on the boot, which makes it look more like a notchback than a regular compact sedan. To give a rugged look to the car, Mahindra has sported a black roof rail on the car.

The pictures have received mixed reviews due to its distinguished design, while some are liking the pictures and some not. The design would remind you of cars like Fiat Palio, Hyundai Accent Viva and other notchbacks. Being sub 4-metre in length, the Vertio Compact Sedan becomes eligible for the excise duty benefits, so expect the vehicle to be very competitively priced. Since Mahindra Mahindra doesn't have any small petrol engine at the moment, so we are expecting the car too be available in diesel only option.

The diesel engine is the same 1.5-litre k9k diesel that does its duty to the existing Verito as well, hence mileage too should be equal to that of the Verito. The full fledged Verito sedan is 4247mm in length with the boot area of 510-litre, so we are expecting the new Verito CS to have a boot space of approx 350-300 litre.

This is all what we have for now, stay tuned to CarDekho for all the latest updates on the same. Cheers!
