Skoda Octavia to make a comeback in 2013
If you are one of those hoping to see Skoda Octavia back into the Indian car market once again, then this is how the good news goes. Skoda India is bound to bring back Octavia which will replace the Laura. Skoda will be using the Volkswagen's MQB platform for the all new Skoda Octavia codenamed A7 which is expected to be displayed at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.

All the same, Skoda India does not hope to see the Skoda Laura brand to continue anymore once the Skoda Octavia makes its stupendous entry. Skoda Octavia was doing all right in the Indian car market but after the introduction of the BS IV norms, the model had to be phased out in 2010. The auto major then decided to roll out Skoda Laura sedan equipped with slightly premium looks. However, now the auto major has decided to bring back the sedan with a whole new look and its Skoda Laura's turn to make an exit without even the reminiscence of the Laura name.
