New Nissan Note Unveiled
Nissan Motors; they gave the world cars like the high-end Nissan GT Skyline, brought in the extremely efficient and fuel centered Nissan Sunny. It can safely be said that if we were to open a dictionary to the picture of all-rounder, a picture of the Nissan logo would not be that out of place. To establish this fact once again, Nissan brings in the second generation of the Nissan Note which has been unveiled in Yokohama, Japan.

The Chief Vehicle Engineer from Nissan, Kenichi Miyoshi said that Nissan has made a product that will meet the requirement of the customers around the world. The three main needs that the new Note has tackled are roominess, design and fuel efficiency. One of the best things about the car apart from the design and interiors obviously is the remarkable fuel efficiency that the car is set to deliver with the 3-cylinder supercharged 1.2 DIG-S engine which is also used in Micra. Nissan Global Media Centre had some of the key players who are behind this product, speak about it and introduce it to the world.
The new Note features dramatic changes in the design and the new version is based on the Nissan V-platform, the same that is being used by the Micra as well. This new generation Note has the new design character which is being termed as the “Squash Line”. The cabin of the new and refreshed Note is well organized and designed with intrigue. There are 3 gauges behind the steering wheel, one out of which is the Eco-Meter which will help people drive the car in a manner that delivers best economic drive.
The Nissan Note, second generation model will be manufactured at the Nissan plant in Sunderland and would be priced somewhere close to £12,000 which means approximately Rs. 8.12 Lakhs. As the Chief Creative Officer rightly puts it, the new Note from Nissan will deliver best in class fuel economy, has latest technology, will produce lesser carbon emissions, has an incredible design and will allow a comfortable and enjoyable drive as well.
