New Honda CR-V launched in India

Honda Siel Cars India has launched a new version of Honda CR-V, a sports utility vehicle. The new Honda CR-V will be available in three variants with an powertrain capacity of 2.0-2.4 litre. The SUV is priced between Rs 21.9 lakh and Rs 24.12 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The company has sold around 12,500 units of the SUV since it was launched in 2003. The new SUV, Honda CR-V, comes loaded with a re-sculpted hood & front bumper design, a refreshed look, oval shape fog lamps redefining the individuality of the vehicle and sporting a new two-step front grille. The new SUV is longer in size than its predecessor while height, width, head clearance and ground clearance remained the same. Seven- spoke alloy wheel are replaced by ten spoke alloy wheels.

The occupants’ safety has been further enhanced as the new Honda CR-V comes equipped with six airbags - Dual SRS Airbags, Side-Curtain airbags and Side Airbags with Occupant Position Detection System (OPDS). The music system features a new USB port in the upper glove compartment in keeping with the latest trend of music storage.
