Honda unveils official pictures of new Honda CR-V Crossover
Honda Motors is busy working towards its brand new 2012 Honda CR-V crossover, which will be launched in the next couple of months. Honda Motors has officially unveiled the images and the concept of the new Honda CR-V. There have many sightings of the 2012 Honda CR-V test vehicles in the past few months. This was the very first time that Honda Motors officially showcased the pictures of the new CR-V. The new 2012 CR-V looks pretty similar to the concept, which was seen earlier this year.

Apparently, the new Honda CR-V will not sizzle the Indian roads until it is launched in United States of America. Therefore, it could be expected that the new 2012 CR-V will hit the Indian roads in the 2nd half of 2012. The same concept was seen early this year and the current concept is not very much different. The back of the 2012 Honda CR-V has a striking similarity with Volvo XC90 whereas the front of the crossover has got a trapezoidal grille accompanied with chrome to lend, which gives an attractive feel to 2012 Honda CR-V. As far as the dimensions of the new Honda CR-V are concerned, they looked a bit amplified in proportion.
However, one thing is still unclear, which is whether the 2012 Honda CR-V will be a five or a seven seater. The company has kept mum on this information. On the other hand, the back of the car will be spacious and will have a lot of space for luggage. Therefore, even if the 2012 CR-V is a five seater, the luggage space will be plenty. The USA market has always been a very crucial market for Honda CR-V and the new 2012 Honda CR-V crossover looks more of USA style. The new CR-V will be technically sound and is expected to come with a 2.4 litre and 2.5 litre of petrol engines that will be proffered to the consumers in USA, whereas the European version of 2012 CR-V will also get an option of 2.2 litre of diesel engine.
