Ford to increase Ikon's price
Due to the rupee depreciation Ford India is planning to increase prices of its Ford Ikon from the next month. It may increase up to 1.5 per cent from the last price. But the other model price sticker will be unchanged. Ford India’s Executive Director (Marketing, Sales and Service) Nigel Wark said that there will be an increase in the prices of Ford Ikon. by up to 15 per cent. He added that due to that exchange rate fluctuation their import bills for components had increased and that is reason they thought it was a logical step to tinker the price upwards a bit to offset the impact.

Ford had introduced the new version of the Ford Ikon last November priced at Rs 5.19 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) for the diesel variant and Rs 4.59 lakh for the petrol variant.
