BMW Retains its peak Position, Audi No. 2
BMW is not just leading the Indian luxury market but is also the number one brand globally. The German auto-giant's sales increased by 4 per cent in March with 159,195 units sold, it's highest monthly sales ever.

According to the Munich-based company, the BMW brand deliveries rose by 7 per cent in the first-quarter to a record 381,404 units, due to the good response in the United States and China.
It's arch rival Audi also maintained its lead over Mercedes-Benz. The another German auto-giant also recorded a high 6.8 per cent improvement in first-quarter sales to a record 369,500 units. Audi's quarterly deliveries in China hiked 14.2 per cent to 102,810 units vehicles while Mercedes-Benz down by almost at the same margin, 11.5 per cent or 45,440 units.
