The all new 2017 Ford GT, which will go on sale later this year will be available in a limited edition – the ’66 Heritage Edition, honouring the original GT40 Mark II driven to victory by Bruce McLaren and Chris Amon at Le Mans in 1966 and was part of the historic 1-2-3 Ford GT sweep. Ford has highlighted that the special edition will feature bespoke exterior colour themes and alloys. The limited edition will be part of the already allotted 500-unit specific 2017 model year Ford GT.  Recently, the American automaker repeated history, as exactly 50 years after the original Ford GT won its historic 1-2-3 Le Mans podium, the new Ford GT has won the 2016 LM GTE Pro!
