With several segment-topping features, Hyundai ensures you never need to look beyond the Aura

It’s said that your car is an extension of your personality. And if an aspiration for modern technology, a premium feel, refined manners, and practicality defines your personality, you’d want a car that reflects these qualities too. The Hyundai Aura does precisely that and much more. Here’s how the sedan outshines its rivals and helps you stand out from the crowd.

Premium Design

The Hyundai Aura gets a striking design that is full of sporty and premium elements. For instance, the contoured hood gels into the honeycomb grille rather neatly while the smoked-out headlamps add a hint of sportiness. And it’s not all about looks either as these headlamps -- a segment first -- produce a focused beam of light with their projector units.

The trend continues towards the side as the sedan gets a sloping coupe-like roofline, an improvement over the usual three-box design that lets Hyundai make the Aura’s cabin space larger. The sporty effect here is provided by the 15-inch alloy wheels, which also enhance the Aura’s sense of proportion by filling up the wheel arches fully.

The Aura’s rear, similarly, has several features that make the car seem like from a segment above. The lip spoiler on the boot looks sporty while the sharp LED elements in the tail lamps add a distinctive touch to the Aura’s stature when viewed from the rear. Hyundai has also included chrome on the grille wraparound, door handles, and tail lamp strip for the right amount of bling.

On-par in Space, Above-par in Comfort

Cars in this segment are not generally known for their chauffeur-friendliness. But the Hyundai Aura can perform such duties easily as its cabin offers on-par space while outdoing the competition in terms of comfort. For instance, its rear seat is reclined a bit more than normal to make long hours comfortable. It also gets an armrest and dedicated AC vents.

But if the driver’s seat is where you like to be, Hyundai has included several premium elements to leave you impressed. The Satin Bronze inserts in the dashboard and gear lever housing are a great example of this and complement the dual-tone grey interior finish to give off a premium vibe. Elements such as the honeycomb texturing, leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob further add to the Aura’s premium factor.

The Aura also gets a 402-litre boot, among the largest in its segment, to make your grocery runs and weekend getaways equally effortless.

Segment-topping Features

The Hyundai Aura comes with a host of features that give you bragging rights in any conversation. For instance, there’s an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system which, in addition to being the largest in this class, offers a smooth and fast UI. It also comes with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay to help you answer phone calls, use live navigation, and play media files from your phone without taking eyes off the road. The system also lets you use voice commands or Hyundai’s Bluetooth-based ‘iBlue’ remote control app to execute those and other functions.

And when your phone does run out of juice during a long drive or commute, another one of the Aura’s segment-first features comes to your rescue. The sedan gets wireless charging, where all you need to do is place your phone on the charging pad to juice it up again. There’s also a dedicated USB charger on the dashboard for those who prefer wired charging.

The Aura also scores a couple of segment-firsts when it comes to safety with its driver rear view monitor (DRVM) and emergency stop signal. This is in addition to the standard safety kit that includes dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, front seatbelt reminder, rear ISOFIX child seat anchors, and speed alert systems.

Peace of Mind Warranty

Hyundai backs up the Aura’s style, space, and long feature list with an even more impressive warranty package. The company lets you take your pick from 3 year/100,000km, 4 year/50,000km, and 5 year/40,000km warranty plans, as per your usage. Hyundai also offers a 3-year Road Side Assistance package that can be a boon if you get stranded with your Aura.

Embodying Your Expectations

The Hyundai Aura offers everything you’d expect from a car of its class and some more. Whether it’s comfort, features, safety or warranty, the sedan outclasses its rivals by a fair margin. And with over 1,300 touchpoints across the country, you can easily experience first-hand how Hyundai has made the aspirational more accessible with the Aura.
