SKODA SLAVIA - Jack Of Some Traits . . . .
This is a good package but lacks in some key areas:
Rear seat headspace.
Middle range in 1.5 and initial pickup in 1.0 engine.
Mileage is inconsistent and is shocking at times with single digits in city use despite light foot usage and correct gearing.
AC turns out to be inadequate in 1.0 and hampers mileage and pickup big time.
The positives include:
Ground clearance never scraped its belly.
The suspension is tuned for a comfortable ride.
Steering feel.
Boot space.
