I have a fairly new acquaintance with the Ciaz, I have done only 1000 km in it. I have driven a Ford Ikon 1.6 NXT for 6 years before buying a Ciaz... Here is my first take on this car. Looks: A good job on the front and sides of the car give you a real rich feel. The rear end though looks good too but is too similar to the City for my liking. Space: This is the best feature in this car. I am a 6'3 burly Surd and I don't generally feel comfortable in most sedan cars, but Ciaz has abunda
DO NOT BELIEVE ALL THE HYPE! I first got my car on the 3rd of November, was lucky enough to be one of the first consumers, or so i thought. Its been around 9 months now, and I have driven 10,000 Kms so far, I have noticed one VERY VERY BIG FLAW that Ciaz, though it is a spacious and well designed car, it is simply TOO LIGHT. The slightest pot hole and the entire car starts to rattle, everything from the dash board to the car and right upto the storgae boot. I have a 7 year old i10 that makes les
While the overall size is the same, the Ciaz offers a much more spacious cabin. The rear legroom is phenomenal and the backrest is angled comfortably with just the right amount of lower back support. It’s a clean layout, reminds you a bit of the larger Kizashi, with beige/black interior. The Zdi+/Zxi+ gets leather upholstery too. The dashboard gets an elegant waterfall layout with an all-new multimedia system that includes a large touchscreen with access to music, telephone and navigatio
Look and Style: At first look, you think it by a high-end car manufacturer, but on closer look you'll find that it's Hamara Maruti. The car impresses you from outside, nice clean sleek looks, the pillars are shaped good, the looks of the car don't make it look bulky or elongated. Looks wise I give it a 7/10. Comfort: The seats are made well, as far the seats go, it's comfortable. But once you hit the road, the car doesn't stay stable on bumps and potholes, especially in Ban
Look and Style; Extraordinary, the colour I have gone for is Steel Grey. Looks are good, it is different than other models available by other brands and styling is elegant. Comfort: With plush interiors, the comfort level is taken to the new heights. The leg space available for the rear passengers is very comfortable. Pickup: Pick up is adequate unless you are into professional racing. The steady pick up is very useful especially if you are negotiating uphill gradients. Mileage: The best feat
Look and Style: The looks are amazing and the car is bigger than any other car in this segment. Comfort: The leg space for the rear seats is class leading. You can charge your laptop, the rear AC vents are a plus. Overall the comfort in this car is the reason, you should buy this car even more. Pickup: I have driven the diesel variant, the pickup in that version comes when you reach the 2000 rpm mark. The petrol version has a linear pickup and is not like the Hyundai Verna. But you don't n
I recently purchased CIAZ VDI SHVS.Earlier i made a booking for the Vitara Brezza. Due to the long waiting period for the Vitara Breeza I took a test ride of the Ciaz at a local Maruti Dealer just for fun. Believe me, I could never get over this car. The feel of luxury, plush interior, driving comfort (especially with built in armrest), rear AC vent at this price and the most impressive feature is the space. This is the most spacious car in this price segment. Performance: The car picks up spe
If we move a bit up from the hatchback category, we will find MUV's and sedans out of which sedans are preferred by many as they are really comfortable along with decent looks and obviously, extra boot space. The first thing you want in your car is good looks so you can turn many heads when you drive down the street and trust me it looks really really classy. It's not of a funky type look, it looks really decent and sober. If you look at pictures of it, they will speak for themselves.
The Ciaz is the best car in its class. It is a car that is worth for buying. It is loaded with features such as touch screen, navigation, rear camera, leather seats, voice control, 16-inch alloy wheels, projector headlamps, rear AC vents, Bluetooth connectivity and much more. Its design is excellent. Projector headlamps, chrome handles and garnish etc give it a very good look. Its interiors are also very good. It gets very advanced features. The car gets a larger lead acid diesel battery that

The Ciaz is a handsome car with a large footprint & good road presence. Familiar Maruti-Suzuki face. You won't mistake it for any other brand. The Ciaz feels more substantial than the SX4 and has clearly gone upmarket. It's bigger than the direct competitors, and the sheer size lends it presence. The car is built on a new platform with body panels utilising lightweight high-tensile steel (related article). With a kerb weight of 1010 (petrol) & 1105 (diesel), the Ciaz is sign
Overall dimensions of the Ciaz are almost the same, except for the wheelbase. It has a street presence with its huge chrome grille and large swept back headlamps. The increased wheelbase allows a nice sweeping silhouette for the roof which smartly dives into the boot. The rear is smartly sculpted with a slightly raised boot and wraparound taillamps. The Ciaz offers a much more spacious cabin. Rear legroom is phenomenal and the backrest is angled comfortably with just the right amount of lower ba
Previously I used to drive Hyundai Verna petrol. It was very easy to drive but was heavy on the pocket, needed to spend at least Rs 4500 per month for 28 km to and fro drive from home to office. Later in October 2016, I have bought Ciaz ZDI + with SHVS. Initially, I felt that the car is heavy to drive. The car gives me 22 kmpl mileage in the city and 28kmpl on the highway which is amazing for me at the moment. You need to drive a bit slow in the city if you need to get the 22 kmpl with air c
Let me start with describing the external and internal features of this car. The premium sedan has good pick up and it is fairly easy to drive in city or even the highway.Making up
Look and Style: Excellent exteriors. Comfort: Nice comfortable car but rattles quite a lot in potholes (more than other standard hatchbacks and sedans). Pickup: Below Average. Mileage: 14.5 kmpl in the city and 15.5 to 16 kmpl on the highway. Best Features: Exterior looks, price. Needs to improve: Tyres are of different sizes in the top model - 4 tyres are bigger and broader of 16
Look and Style: The car design is aerodynamic so it gives very good mileage. Maruti has done its homework well and beats the Honda and the Toyota at its own game. The car feels much more spacious than the rest in its competition. The car is extremely well balanced. Engine is refined and does not make noise. Comfort: The interiors of the car are great with wooden finish it adds a premium touch to it. The design is very practical and is utilising every inch of space, perfect. The leather gives i
