My Ciaz Journey so far

When I have decided to change my mighty muscular Scorpiro in early 2018, I was leaning towards good automatic car. Checked option like Ford Ecosport, Baleeno & Jaaz but all looked very small and unable to justify the shift from Scorpio to such small cars. Since I also have budget constraint , I have decided to go with Maruti and booked S Cross after test drive. But when we have gone to the Nexa showroom , my family got attracted with Ciaz with the rich look and luxury inside(mainly space). We have owned Swift prior to Scorpio so decided to go for the sedan instead of S Cross and managed to change booking within 2 days. Nexa boys were kind enough to change my booking and finally our Blue Ciaz S got delivered on Feb 22nd. Initiall the car looked very long for me but in no time got adjusted with the driving and since then no stopping. After driving hatchback & SUV in the past , driving Ciaz in higways are really different experience and also not getting tired after long drives. So far clocked 8000 KM mostly in highways and the experience in really awesome. Till now I have not taken my car in hilly roads but hope to get that done by this year end. For the same features in Honda Citi or Verna we need to pay another 2.5L more but Maruti has beaten them in price with high margin. Only flaw i see in this car with the light weight materials in the body makes you feel little unsafe compared with other sedans in the market. If you are safe driver then Ciaz is the best sedan with great mileage and best service from Maruti network.
